This morning was a 'hygienic' shave, devoid of the pleasure of pampering: I'm distracted by a lot of things I have to do.
And I also have to realize that it's summer: in fact I'm still waiting for it to make jam and marmalade, but the fruit I see around has the consistency of granite.
Where are the seasonal products if they are picked while they are still unripe? Then pumped up with ethylene and... voilà.
In a village close by, I discovered a yellow building: Banana Ripening Center.
And it happened when I thought I had already seen everything...

And, speaking repetitions, I have, unconsciously, almost replicated a recent shaving: Atkinsons lavender and Progress, evidently, attract each other...

The Palmolive Shave Cream face-lathered well with my Jayaruh #30 silvertip brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Ever-Ready Lather Catcher razor with a Personna GEM SS PTFE blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Aqua Velva Musk AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

First full shave in over three months. Shed the beard last night. Have to remember to take it easy for the first couple of shaves until my skin adjusts to having a blade cruising over it!

Soap: RazoRock Black Bay (if one can get past the lather color and adjust to the scent, the reward is a terrific post shave feel.)
Brush: Semogue 620 boar
Razor: RazoRock German 37 slant w/bulldog handle
Blade: Astra SP (1)
Aftershave: Pinaud VIBR (almost out!)
