    I don't see how any razor "shaves better" than any other razor. Shaving merely cuts hair at skin level. Any razor that's mechanically sound, with a decent blade will accomplish that task. So long as you do your job properly, it doesn't matter if it's a DE, SE or open blade. The end result should always be the same.

    I bought mine before they changed their lineup and added the alloy razors, which are now packaged with all three plates. I thought the three dot plate worked fine. A bit more blade feel, however I didn't notice that much of a difference in efficiency to justify it. Could also be because I shave every day and not mowing down several days worth of stubble...
