  1. July 26 SOTD

    Shavette shave #181
    Parker SRB
Van der Hagen 1/2 DE (3)
    Rockwell Synthetic Brush
Chiseled Face Cryogen SS and AS

This is daily shave #3 with Cryogen. Before I share my particulars, I just want to say that I didn't download a pic because the gear is the same as yesterday's shave except for the brush. Ok! I looked at the puck this morning and most of the water evaporated so that the gel texture disappeared. As I touched the puck, it was slightly moist so I figured that I will lightly dip the dry brush on the buck a few times. Now, it looks like there isn't any soap on the brush. This time I did not wet my face and applied the invisible soap accordingly. Lightly dip the tips in water and magically the lather appeared. Continued to build the lather by adding bits of water and ended up with enough lather for 3 passes. This lather was awesome in appearance, and slickness. I am starting to believe that a little goes a long way with this soap. I only needed 2 passes and o touch ups to get a real close, comfortable shave because I only had a 21 hr growth. Generously, applied the matching aftershave for another menthol hit. Using this new puck of Cryogen has been an eye opener for me. Seven more daily shaves to go before I make a judgement Have a nice day guys!
  2. thank you Jeff.happy sunday..:)

  10. Like trying to fake it, huh?(Conversation). :). But seriously, you're right. It sure can help when we have problems with things like worrying about the future(and past too, for that matter. )
  11. Oh they are all right....they go on the face and neck fine, but you can't SEE it go on.
  12. We aren't machines that's for sure! Let's face it! Even if we use the same razor, brand, soap and brush from one shave to the next, the shave will not be exactly the same. The idea that we do not exactly mimic our start and stop at the exact spots on our face makes it different.
  13. Thanks Jim!
  14. Joe, that's why you see me say things like "Brush-Stoylin lil brudder... otherwise, same ol' animal as today" (or words to that effect).
  15. well, we are all shave fanatics, and it's our common bond here..:)..need more newbies..:D
  16. i agree..sometimes when i have missed a day the shave feels better as well.sometimes the shave sucks and i wonder how i still achieved the good results..:).i do believe the skin adapts to the shave as well.i couldn't do daily shaves in the past..
  17. Thank you, Jeff!
  18. Excellent shave and results, Jeff!
