    It's a great combo by my nose. Now that I have the Tuscan Oud, I can compare the two to start understanding/detecting the individual Oud scent.

    What you described with the lather suddenly appearing reminds me of using a soap stick. Doesn't usually look like much on the face until the brush makes it explode. Fine shave, Joe!

    Sunday's Shave

    I decided to try another new soap/AS set today and it turned out to be another good purchase. The scent is terrific, although I had an idea what was coming because I have a similar sample of Fine L'Orange Noir.

    2 easy passes for a DFS+ result today with no mishaps or irritation. I've really enjoyed using some of my Gillette razors lately that haven't seen much action in a while.

    Thanks Andrew.....certainly looking forward to Osage. A reviewer said he thinks it can be used year-round. At my first go with it, I'll decide if he is out of his mind or that he might have a point.

    I use Proraso all year round and will probably do the same with Cryogen. Why not? You are in a heated bathroom and as long as you stay inside for a time, then I don't see any reason not to use it anytime you want to do so.

    I agree completely! We each have our own shave fu, if you will. This hobby of ours is truly multifaceted, and people enjoy whatever aspects of shaving that works for them!
