    Klar Kabinett~~Simpson Emperor 3~~Feather AS-D2/Sharp Star~~DRH Pink~~Penhaligon's The Hammam
Clearly, I decided to go easy on my face after yesterday's meat market.
The Emperor regally loaded the KK and created a lather fit for a king:

It was actually shinier than it appears in this photo.
Strong paint brush strokes knocked what little air there was in the lather
and left in its place some really thick 'n rich cushion.

Second shave with the Sharp Star, today loaded into my AS-D2.
No monkey business, just three delightful passes sans bloodshed.
Two splashes of the DRH Pink (I usually wipe the first away, clearing my face of any residual lather)
followed by a few squirts of the Penhaligon's.
Dr. Mrs. Primo and I went on a 5 mile hike and while it was pretty hot,
    it was nevertheless quite exhilarating.
Came home and gave both dogs a bath.

  4. Thank you Jim. He is a very tall boy. That is the photo I downloaded from the SEGA site. We will take some more this evening. Cody did really well with the car trip home. He has meet Mocha with no bloodshed which was positive. We have him in the kennel trying to get him to calm down. As a retired razor he has never been in a home with all the sights, sounds and smells. It is like he has been dropped onto another planet.
  5. I’m sure you will! After that, there’s always French DEs.

  10. Thanks, Joe! We all enjoy our hobby for our own reasons! I’m mostly a shaving tools guy with no real interest in scented soaps which I know you enjoy! To each his own. The irony for me is I attended a local Zoom Meetup of our ECWS where you and I met and ended up winning., you guessed it, a pile of scented shaving soaps. I’ll have a lot of PIFs to distribute to others as well as swag for raffles etc. I won some apple scented soap and matching splash from an outfit called Oleo. Also a lot of other obscure soap maker samples (maybe 7 or 8). Just what I always wanted, to smell like an apple! I just don’t get these weird smells. Aqua Velva, Old Spice, Royall Bay Rhum or Lyme, Sandalwood I get. This other stuff uh uh!

  11. That’s great, Clint! The newer synthetic knots are pretty amazing. I’m sure you’ll find the solution for yourself. I remember seeing your knot removal apparatus. You’re good to go!

  12. He’s a handsome boy, Clint! I volunteer at a local Dachshund Rescue, and can confirm that Greyhounds have sweet, gentle dispositions and don’t tend to be barkers! You’ve done a wonderful thing. He’ll be a loving member of the family.

  14. Truly an Imperial shave kit, Maestro! Sharp Stars are wonderfully sharp and smooth blades. My supply of them is quite low. Sounds like an exhilarating shave and enjoyable hike! Enjoy the rest of your Sunday!
