That is a Brit made one. Late 50s early 60’s thanks Gary! I was trying to figure it out. It has Gillette on the cap but a plain one not like the gold US one which has the Gillette with the arrows.
It's not ever dawned on me to write down what these razors are. I've always expected "brit" to help me out.
thank you Mike.supposed to be quite rare.still uses the post war base plate and has a modded center bar on the cap.the later caps only had corner tabs..
Silver Blue Day I see! Nice. Nice! Again, great shaves everybody. Loving looking at the awesomeness from all of you.
I decided to shave with my first vintage purchase, many razors ago I started my love affair with vintage Gillettes with one delightful razor, the Prewar Fat Handle Tech. It delivered a superb shave this evening! Prewar Fat Handle Tech Lab Blue Dragonsbeard Paladin 28mm Lotus Thayers TSD Bourbon & Vanilla
Thank you, Gary. It was nice going back to the Tech. It's what started me in this wonderful world of vintage razors. And it still shaves great! It's one of the least expensive razors in my den & shaves superbly. Not as efficient as others, but it certainly is smooth.
