  2. Thank you Bruce! It has been an eye opener and a blessing to use this soap during this heatwave!

  3. Paul, I am doing an experiment of 10 consecutive shaves with Cryogen to see if I can prevent it from becoming like Vaseline. I guessed you missed the nemo. Lol!

  5. I missed the Vaseline part. OK, carry on :).

  6. Thanks Jeff! I believe my method using this soap will help shavers like yourself to deal with the menthol because it isn't being super loaded. With that said, one may not get the voluminous lather like a Stirling soap, but the virtues of this soap such as the cold feeling and slickness is still apparent.
  7. True! However, I would not recommend it with Cryogen.

  9. Thanks Paul! Kathy's doing better each day - feeling and sleeping better, eating more, and walking more. On really long walks, however, she still requires a wheelchair and she tires easily. She has lost around 15 lbs (weight she didn't need to lose), so it will be great to see her eating normally again. Having said all that, she is on the road to recovery. The doctors have told us to be patient.

We've had a relaxing "day off" from doctor's visits, so we're keeping it low key. It is in the upper 70s and sunny here in Minnesota. I feel like we've cheated summer this year by being away from Kentucky. We have a few more days here before we make our way home. I'm through making wrong predictions. We're just taking it a day at a time. :)

    How are you, my friend?
  10. Thank you, Bruce! I'm back home now and the proper steps have been set in motion.

  11. Strange. This soap is soft enough that I can push my finger into it. I've never had an issue loading the brush, other than the tin being so small.

  12. So good to hear Kathy is getting better, Charlie.

  14. Now that I have a Medicare Advantage plan, it was tine for me to use it. I had an eye doctor appointment today. I haven't had my eyes examined for a couple of years so I definitely needed one. I also wanted to get my prescription filled so that I can get new glasses. I went to Lenscrafters and the optometrist was a real great guy! I had pictures of my retinas taken, etc. I am happy to say that my eyes are healthy! Only had to pay 39 dollars for a routine eye exam thanks to my insurance. My vision benefit gives me 100 dollars of any frame and they had a sale of 50% off any lenses! I been wearing progressive and transition lenses for many years. However, with these new glasses on order, I add the premium anti-reflective lenses. The total was $350 dollars for the glasses. If I paid the full price for the glasses, then it would be about $700. Total was $390 with the exam. Total price paying the full price on glasses and exam would be $780. Total savings was $390 or 50% off of everything! Gee with $400 saved, I can almost justify getting another Max Sprecher Custom. Lol!
  15. Awesome progress and update, Charlie!
  16. Thank you, Gary!

  17. Thank you, Clint! It's something I should have done a while ago, but all is set in motion now. Thank you for the positive thoughts.

  18. Thank you, Jeff! I've thought about the Supply razor many times, but just held off for some reason. If it compares to the shaves from the E2, it has to be a great shaver.
I appreciate the positive thoughts. All went well today. Now it's just a waiting game.
