Howdy folks. Just an introduction. I love everything Clubman except the veg. Favs are Tobac, Prorasso Red & Col Conk Amber and Williams for shave soaps. Favorite Razors are my Merkur 34c's And WCS 84's. I keep my grandfather's 1958 Super Speed TV Special tucked away and pull it out on occasion. Happy Friday!

I really like the TV specials. There's just something about that vertical knurling that lends it an elegance not seen on the regular super speeds.
I had heavily invested in gear quite a few years ago. I had many vintage Gillette Razors and Badger Brushes and all the Merkur Razors at the time.. Financial difficulties caused me to have to sell everything but my Grandfather's razor. I didn't have the heart to sell that one. I remember as a 5 year old boy him letting me watch him shave and then letting me splash on Aqua Velva with him.
One reason I like my 1957 Brazilian Mono Tech/Aristocrat. It keeps the same straight handle, like early Super Speeds, with the knob knurling the same as the handle.
