Why yes, exactly! We grab our tofu and sprouts and head out to a nice park for a picnic and hug the trees. In reality, it's a very long, very boring story. And we're such a contradiction of terms when it comes to all that. We've been doing the vegetarian thing for, I dunno...at least five or six years. As I'm quick to point out, we might be vegetarians, but we're not healthy-eating vegetarians. Funny you mention the Prius though. A commercial came on TV for the Prius sometime back. I forget what the MPG rating is claimed to be. However, I brought up the calculator on the iPad. If I were to only drive it back and forth to work (which is only 3.1 miles each way), I'd only have to fuel up once a quarter. Instead, I drive a Tahoe.
Great kickoff shave, Maestro, despite your shaving soap choice! Great lather shot! Hope your day Went well!
I don't have the Glacial version of the Electric Sheep soap, just the regular. I do have the aftershave in Glacial. Opposing thought..... Um...that stinky Midnight Stag. By ordering Electric Sheep you partially redeemed yourself with scent choices. Not by much though...
Not on that particular order, but I will be calling on Doc and Nurse Ezlovan again when I "throw all my money away" and make The Most Expensive Order I Have Ever Made As a TSD Member. . It will involve Stoylin and Bill Neumann. I'll ask for one of the unscented soaps,, but then order two Bill Neumann aftershaves. I'll need the Unscented soap so as not to cut off the Bill Neumann fragrances.
RIIGHT, Midnight Stag. I thought you were the one whose wife was going to split your body if you got Clubman again. As for the Glacial Electric Sheep, all I care about is that it might be a good match for Osage Rub.
Thanks, Joe, for the kind words! I’m hoping I can get beyond this, but one positive to the fear and anxiety, is the slow careful approach it instills. Hopefully, the worry will eventually diminish, but even if it doesn’t, at least by October I’ll be Able to say I know how. to straight shave. I’ve pretty much reconciled to never being able to achieve the velveteen level, but that’s what my select safety razors are for!
At worst, it is just another shaving option, at best, you will appreciate the beauty of a straight razor shave by your own hands. It's a win-win!
