  1. Much obliged, Gary. (That's my best John Drake impersonation)
  2. Beautiful. Don't you love how many razors "tweaked" their specs for different markets?
  3. Wow. That Kami. :smiley respect:
Incredible setup and photo, Blair. Nice ride today, too. Were you listening to "Marathon" by Rush? ;)

  7. Truly terrific in every aspect of your shave and post Gary!
  8. thank you Joseph..yes sir,love all the different variations..it begs the question,"was it marketing,different manufacturing procedures,or both?"..
  9. thank you Bruce..i use it sparingly as to preserve it.i got the set with shipper box, near to nos ,though one can never be sure..
  10. Thank you Bruce! The razor was honed last July and it truly helped me gained confidence in honing. The resetting of the bevel on my Dovo Special earlier this year really established me in my journey. I am just glad that I am able to maintain and hone my straights. The Mad Max and my Wosty near wedge will be sent out to Max Sprecher and the guy who sold me the Wosty for honing.
  11. thank you Joe,have a splendid afternoon..:)
  12. Thank you Andrew
  13. Joseph is an eloquent artisan.... I'm a blue collar hack who hides behind Max Headroom.
  14. Is it just me, or are the graphs eerily close to those of cooking brisket?

  15. Sunday's Shave

Today has been very hectic so this will be just a drop in post. I will try to catch up on the thread later today.
I made time for a great shave though. 2 passes today for a DFS+ finish and no irritation or mishaps.

    Schick Type L
    Personna Blade
    Turn-N-Shave 'Potluck'
    LEA Shaving Soap Stick
    Dickinson's Witch Hazel
LEA 3 in 1 Aftershave Balm

The LEA Balm is one of the best I have used. Earlier, I did finally open my sample of the PAA Star Jelly aftershave to compare to LEA. This LEA Balm has the same consistency as the Star Jelly aftershave, but feels better, has a cleaner and fresher neutral scent, with the same medium menthol kick.

See y'all soon and I hope everyone is having a great day!
