What Straight Razor Did You Use Today?

The old war horse comes through with flying colors.
Razor: Peter's Brothers Best Quality near wedge
Brush: Rubberset 200-2 Two Band Badger
Lather: WSP Formula T Bay Rum
Astringent: Osma Alum block
Splash: Ogallala Bay Rum Lime and Peppercorn
This old razor has some cosmetic issues but it shaves amazingly well. Today I think I got my best ever straight razor shave with this beast of a razor. All I've done to this razor is shine up the blade a little bit hone her up and use it.

 

I agree, some great lines, she is a fine looking razor.

 

7/8 Riga Razor

 

Beautiful razor and awesome brush.

 

7/8 RigaRazor, soap was ABC hard soap, and a splash of Agua Balsamica finished things up.

 

Great test..... Enjoyed following!

PS - I'm still available if it's time to move that piece along

 

I was going to shave with a different razor and then I got the memo. Second shave with the Rigarazor showed the first was no fluke. Simply wonderful in every way

Same setup as yesterday....playing with mirror reflection on the Rigarazor and lens/camera perspective. Shot w/iPhone, small studio setup.

 

King Pelican 14, soap was I Coloniali Mango Oil followed by the Rhubarb balm.

 

Always love seeing that King Pelican 14 make an appearance. Beautiful!

Thank you Chris. I think these might have been my first shot at the wood/acrylic look. They should be coming up on 5 years and are holding up nicely... learned a lot with these.
