Blue's Goat's Milk Soap from the Netherlands. I think it's made in China so the name is a bit of an anomaly lol. That's where I ordered it from. The Gem/Ted Pella was perfectly guided by the old Ever Ready classic. Vintage Avon Tai Winds aftershave and matching cologne...this whole wet shaving thing is fun!

It's very hard to get differences for terms that, in Italian, are the same... :(
And with no corrections... no improvement!

A shining sun in fresh air...

Today, despite repeated resolutions and recriminations, it tried two new things. And I was lucky.
Freshly fresh from Austria, a new American soap, with a fragrance unusual for me: lavender!

I didn't expect several things from the foam: the consistency, first of all.
It looks like a very fluid cream, but with a consistent fluidity that sticks well to the bowl.

It immediately lathers even without adding water apart from the squeezed knot: I added it little by little. And it can drink quite a bit.

The other thing I didn't expect is the fragrance: intense, enveloping...
In my olfactory ignorance, it reminds me, at first glance, of Atkinsons lavender, but more determined, aggressive...
And, ça va sans dire, it remains for the entire shave and even after rinsing, although less intense.
Very slick and with an excellent post shave, although not too fat.

The other unexpected thing was Feather's performance on the Progress. I had the urge to try it on the Saxon razor. Evidently the compatibility between Germans and Japanese still exists: that the Berlin-Tokyo Axis still influences their relations? Positive in this case!

A lively Chet Baker accompanied the whole thing: a great start to the day!

  19. Wonderful shave today with the Muhle R41 fitted with a Personna blade. Creamy, slick, aromatic lather from the Route 66 shave soap. Three passes and I am dolphin smooth and refreshed. I finished with Brut. Enjoy your day friends.
