  1. Thank you, Andrew!
I've had the Oumo for awhile and it's a great brush. I have no good excuse for not reaching for it more often.

  3. I've looked at Stephan Bay Rum before and even asked you about it once before a while back. I don't think you saw the post. Is it high on cloves or cinnamon?

  4. Outstanding, Gary! Fantastic razor and being NOS, it's yours to break it in properly! I love my Schick Type L (along with my other Schicks).
My first shave was with a Panasonic electric foil shaver I got for my 14th birthday. It did a fine job removing my peach fuzz beard... :happy097:
  5. thank you Andrew..my dad was an electric shaver guy..you know those little balls that show up on wool sweaters..he will tell you a story..:scared003::angry019::scared007: he wasn't impressed..:happy102:
  6. Fine report, Paul!
Osage Rub must always be shaken before use. The menthol will settle towards the bottom when not in use. I would say this goes for any mentholated aftershave and also any other aftershave that may have ingredients that aren't completely emulsified/homogenized into the solution. I am sure @Trigger would agree on a scientific basis...

  7. SV Felce Aromatica, actually. Wonderful smell to capture inside the mask.

  8. After seeing the recent Thäter brushes on the thread I went with a Thäter for today's shave too. CF is a favorite and combined with a sharp 7/8 half hollow Brian Brown I had a very nice shave.

  18. DE-Vette Report 2

A very good shave for sure, although more time consuming than most shaves as I figure out what techniques work best.

I am more comfortable with a 'following' type of motion with the wrist and hand pulling rather than pushing because of the high handle angle required to keep a low blade angle. I will trying the same thing with other gear in the future.

I start all strokes with the blade more parallel or flat to the skin like a straight with a tipping for edge feel.

A tool such as this is easier for me to make the ATG move, under the jaw, side to center, that many find challenging with conventional open edge tools.

  19. Very nice report! and shave. That's what I like about de razors. you can have your own individual technique with different razors.
