Glad you're doing well, Perry! Schools here keep changing plans like changing underwear. I love the Madras mask by the way.
Georgia schools here have cancelled the entire competition season for Marching Band. They may be able to just play at halftime for games though. My son (in his Senior year of High School) is justifiably upset. But...high school football season is a going forward (wealthier boosters I presume). I'm curious what @PLAla schools in AL are doing.
Thank you Andrew. The abdominal issues have been happening for several weeks off and on. I have a doctor appointment in the morning. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Well it IS gorgeous, but this is out in the Colorado Rockies, where I've vacationed for many summers.
It will eliminate all of the traveling competitions they do in the fall season. Each year, they prepare a specific themed performance for the competitions. Spring season is reserved for indoor concert band ("wearing tuxedos" competitions) and that season has yet to be determined.
As I've told @PLAla, I thought I would enjoy being in my High School Band, but in looking back, I wish I hadn't joined.
Gary, Paul and Clint are running on all cylinders today. Have a marvelous day guys! It is not a red car.
I've heard you mention that before. I played football and basketball in high school, so no band for me. My Son however, loves being in band more than anything he does in high school. He's the brass section leader and has been first chair trumpet in several seasons. He's very disappointed about this year's band outlook due to the pandemic.
