Absolutely can shave off a few minutes when needed but sometimes it will bite you just to keep you honest.
Gentlemen, I hope you're all doing well. Today was Kathy's Day 60 checkup, and she received an excellent report. She's in REMISSION, and our doc expects her heart function to continue improving. She's getting stronger and eating more each day. We will transition off the feeding tube over the next two weeks, and then we're coming home. We give God all the glory and credit! We so appreciate the continued prayers and encouragement from everyone here, and we are thankful for your friendship. I hope to be around these parts more often in the next couple of weeks. Since Memorial Day, I have enjoyed daily two-pass shaves with my Birth Quarter Gillette Slim set on 9 (not sure why the thing has 8 other settings when '9 is fine'), Voskhod blades (always '3 and out' because my mug is worth it), 30DC LE Brush (voted 2019's best Canadian export to the US), and Tabac (the stuff of men). Lol! It should be that way because half my soaps are Stirling. However, one of the tubs (extinguished Sandalwood) has the Fine Italian Citrus soap in it.
So I joined a Facebook "Cowboy Boot" group a few days ago, and guess what? Those goofballs post photos of the boots they are wearing each day, their boot collections, and even their new purchases. Some of them actually have a boot rotation. And all those wild colors and designs! Can you believe it? What is wrong with them? I can't wait to get home so that I can post a photo of my Justin Iguana Lizard skin boots.
There are some weird people with strange hobbies in this world. Be careful. Craziness seems contagious and you have already shown tendencies...
The BGE is great for cooking just about anything. Pizza is so much easier than slow cooking in it! And...veggies or seafood, almost done before you can shut the lid, or maybe shut the lid and open an adult beverage. I made the mistake of buying a huge cast iron wok. Thought it would work on the gas range we have, but doesn’t get hot enough long enough. When it cools down a bit in a month or so, we’re going to give it a go heating it on the BGE. Already got some almost 20” tongs. That, is fantabulous news Charlie! Thoughts and prayers that Kathy’s improvement does nothing but continue. Thanks for sharing y’all’s journey.
