Joe, you misinterpreted the banter between Gary @brit and me. We're car guys and were joking about the Ford Model T, not the razor. I'm sure the razor is great. That was the joke.
Yes, go figure! However, I really had the soap extra slick and I am sure that was a definite factor. TBH, the Gillette razors are great for the face, but not headshaving as compared to the other razors. It doesn't mean they don't give great headshaves, but I have to work harder to get there. Again, my Schick E3 and my Jones' ShakeSharp are my 1 and 2 headshavers, respectively. The Rockwell T and 6C are 3 and 4.
I won't be going as often as I usually do. Maybe when it gets cooler I'll be back. But breathing into that mask after coming in from 90 degree weather doesn't fit for me..
very cool.makes me think there is little difference once one hits the bigger numbers on the adjustables.a red tip =7 on the dial...i haven't tried a shake sharp.the e series schicks speak for themselves.if i hadn't chosen vintage gillettes i would have a stable full of early schicks..i really like their shaves..their looks are a little mundane..except for an f of course..
Thanks Andrew. It has been a journey, for sure. It's good to hear from you, and I hope you and your family are well. I love your new avatar.
With Covid all her classes are virtual. Even when things return to normal, Cody will not be alone much with 4 girls in the apartment.
