Thanks gentlemen! I still use one blade one shave, yea well..... Shave every day, really like my Yaqi Helmet and my GEM MMOC, on head and face. I did use my Focuse shavette for about 2 months, took to long on the gord to use productively, so I went to my SE and DE's. I'm down to about 150 feather blades and 200 Personna GEM's. I've grown a chin beard, it's a wife thing, yea, yea I know. I'm still alive and well breathing on my own so life's good. Want to get back in but the time isn't there. Take care! tp
Another reason why I shouldn't be allowed near ebay.fr Razvite shave set. I bought it for the razor mainly which I already have. This is a rebranded Famex razor they sold with these sets. This company was primarily a shave cream manufacturer. Razvite is shorthand for Razor and Vitality.
The seller described an unmarked razor in silver case. And a Voss razor in a silver case. I'm guessing Voss............ https://www.bing.com/images/search?view=detailV2&ccid=xO1pTTOI&id=E5DA850A62185BB678682E61C58771A68DF3EC52&thid=OIP.xO1pTTOIX5d4IIkHrIs-0AHaJc&mediaurl=http://img0.etsystatic.com/000/0/5702985/il_570xN.269720300.jpg&exph=727&expw=570&q=vintage+voss+razor&simid=608049669883366846&ck=4F9F4F3683B2A02AA153F6FA43A913B3&selectedindex=0&form=IRPRST&ajaxhist=0&vt=4&sim=11
That's why I kept watching that lot. Except for shipping, that razor alone is worth what I paid for the whole lot, which wasn't much.
for the past week now I have been restoring my WW2 M1 helmet dated 1944-1945. It was pretty rusty yet still surprisingly had alot of it's original paint left. anyway I was able remove the rust and put a fresh coat of paint. I then weathered the helmet by letting it sit in the sun to fade the paint a bit. I made some natural camouflage by adding dirt to it. Some helmet collectors out there like to fill in the metal pitting, but IMO I like leaving the pitting because that is what adds character to it. I also added some natural scratches to the helmet to give it that "battle wear" look to it. I ordered this decal and helmet netting here @ https://mantheline.com/product/101st-506th-helmet-decal-spade/ @ https://mantheline.com/product/wwii-u-s-1-14-inch-helmet-net-khaki/ Hoping to get them soon. Looking forward to finishing this project up so I can see how it looks in the end. this was a helpful video for me.
