I like them both.....but for different reasons. The splash is great for hot months. Cool, refreshing and soothing. For colder months and if one's skin is dry or somewhat irritated, the balm works its magic. Absorbs easily. As a point of interest (at least to me) the balm has a scent identical to Proraso's green soap and cream. The Proraso green splash has a scent all its own. Proraso products never disappoint.
