I've done it before, but only when there was no running hot water in the first place. I was "satisfied" with that kind of shave, I'll say that. I'm going half and half tomorrow, although it is supposed to be less humid which will be nice.
Great shave, Joe! Well it finally happened! Aiieee!!! I bought two vintage straights, both at my son’s urging! One is a Puma Solingen 4/8, and the other is a Japanese Tanifuji Silver Steel Airi. Help! I feel myself beginning to fall down the wrong rabbit hole!
I fear the inevitable slide has begun! One of the benefits, at least is that I seem to be immune to safety razor enablement - for example the very deft effort on the new Charcoal Goods razor by our own subtle Jim, @jluc. Oh dear!!!
The new stainless model sold out quickly. Last I checked they still had the new model in brass available.
Looks as if the new Charcoal Goods DE is already sold out. I didn't even have enough time to enable myself. Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk
Thanks Jeff! Excellent first straight razor purchases. Enjoy them and may you have many great shaves!
This is our 12th week in Minnesota, Paul. We plan to come home on the 1st day of our 14th week, but who's counting?
i was looking at my collection the last few days and thinking.."what could i turn all these rarely used razors into".so over 30 are gone.old types-gone,new improved-gone,numerous superspeeds-gone,regular rockets-gone.now waiting on nice examples of ones i wanted..was it cost efficient?,probably not..but someone else gets to enjoy them.i feel lighter..a load off almost..
