I don’t post a lot here. But tonight I felt compelled to. @jmudrick and I get together occasionally for coffee and shoot the shit about razors mainly. Well we also swap razors to try. Jeff lent me his PAA Prismatic paired with a cool stainless handle. I for the life of me cannot remember. Anyhow here is tonight’s STELLAR SHAVE.

Razor: PAA Prismatic
Blade: Gillette Platinum
Brush: 30 mm Tuxedo in a brush by Tom
Soap: Tabac
AS : Tabac

This razor supposed The heck out of me. It was really smooth a bit milder than I usually prefer. It gave a first time use near BBS. I will shim per @jmudrick instructions for my next go. I have a feeling it will be stellar.

By the by, I was so impressed I actually just ordered my own.

Gets even better I think matched with a New baseplate. Because the Prismatic head is slotted the range of plates the cap mates with is limited but every one I've tried has been made me smile.

Yes a shorter loft would be better. So far have tried this knot with five different soaps, including MWF which some find hard to lather but so far I haven't had an issue lathering up any of the soaps. They should offer a shorter loft or drill down or create a deeper top portion.

Good shave! There was a weeper in the upper lip area.
May be I was not ready for a top open comb and base plate

Cold wet flannel to my face.
Pears ~ Transparent Soap Bar / Wilko Men's Shaving Oil.
Brush : Anbbas Boar.
Face Lather.
Soap : Palmolive Classic Shave Sticks. (Grated)
Blade: Shark ~ Super Stainless. (2)
Razor: Parker 87R.

Post:
Cold Water Face Rinse./Homemade lavender eucalyptus, + Tea Tree essential Oils Witch Hazel Mixture./ Old Spice Classic ASL.
Groomed ~ Post Shave Balm.

Another comfortable 3 pass + pick ups BBS shave with no errors to report.

A superb shave!...It just goes to show that you don't need an expensive shaving kit to have a good shave if you gain your shaving confidence & apply good technique.
The humble Palmolive Classic shave stick is a great performing soap which will always be a firm favourite within my shaving den.
Finishing to the shave off with a generous dollop of Groomed ~ Post Shave Balm.

My face is feeling Cool, super smooth & smelling Divine.
