  6. Gary, many collectors describe themselves as enthusiasts. You’re a specialist Gillette user/collector! And I really enjoy your posts!

  7. Besides the usual great photography, that is one appealing list of ingredients! Lime and coconut tick two of my boxes! Enjoy your day!

  8. Enjoy, Joe! My sister lives in Manorville, so we spend a fair bit of time out that way usually! I’ll bet the traffic to and from Montauk is much improved from usual.

  10. Thanks, Blair! My son, who’s an amateur bladesmith, suggested the selections. He warned me about the Tanifuji. He owns a large number of Japanese razors, and was always going on about Silver Steel and it’s edge holding qualities. He said the same thing about the Puma, although the razor looks like it may require a restoration, which Ben has volunteered to perform. In any case, despite my anxiety during the straight shaving process, I’m looking forward to their arrival.

  12. Yeah, Blair, I understand that Jim’s (@jluc) repurposed Cheyenne Mtn NORAD facility is pretty much filled up at this point. I’ve offered the same service for Gary (@brit) but he’s been reluctant. Sheesh, I don't understand why? I’d gladly house the collection, categorize it and display it for him here in Philly. I’m retired and have more than enough time to devote to the effort. Just because he’s on the northern left coast shouldn’t influence his decision! :happy069:

A busy morning around the homestead. Maya is moving back to Lexington for fall semester. Of course girls don't back light, so both my wife and Asha are following along in my wife's SUV loaded to the gills. It has been nice having her home and I know I will miss her. Pulled out the MdC Agrumes this morning. Three passes and touch ups just missed the baby. I hope everyone has a great Thursday.

  17. Thanks, Clint! Happy Thursday to you too! I'm hoping today will be my Friday. A long weekends rest before the next unit start-up on Monday would be nice.

  19. My son recommended both! The Puma looks like it could use a refresh, but the Tanifuji looks interesting. The blade shape is somewhat unique. Thanks for the info. Ben pretty much said the same thing.
