Blair, I was the same as you. The day I turned 16 I was at the DMV to get my license. My son waited just about a month after he turned 16. Sounds like you had a rough day of waiting in the government offices - that's never fun. Glad it worked out in the end.
Thank you for your comment about my day. I'm blessed that both kids are well behaved and we have a good daily routine. It's just day's like this that temporarily throw a monkey wrench in the works.

    upon the road

Under the safety razor heading is a thread or 2 about the tool and the pass around om on.

It is built on the theory that safety bars on DE razors are not really necessary when low angle & light touch skills are properly applied. While I believe this to be true, use of this type of tool kinda falls into "stunt shaving'. It has been fun testing one's self.

It was made by @twhite Tom White who has a history that predates my participation here. He has engineered and fabricated quite a number of unique pieces of shaving gear. I consider him savant like in his creations.

TGIF! I have a very busy day ahead so it was nice to start with a relaxing shave. The "Soap Destroyer" loaded and lathered the Felce Aromatic with ease. Three passes and touch ups just missed the baby. Operator error on my lower left neck let the little guy escape. I hope everyone has a fantastic Friday.
