good morning gents, bright sunny morning so far, hotter temps predicted..wasted no time to get the shave on and try out the new gadgetry..unwrapped a new suneko blade,a generous friend here ,our Jeff
@jgreenepa sent me some in a yellow tuck, awesome sharp ,long lasting blades.it's still in rotation after 5 uses.these new blades are in a dark chrome tuck, double wrapped and still have the diamonds on the inner wrap.
beautiful slick baume.be lather first try built by the razorock barrel 24 finest badger brush..thank you joseph
@Primotenore for the enabl..err fine tip..

..i was almost out of soaps..
loaded the suneko into what could be called the first aristocrat jr,the popular.these brit built beauties were made for 3 years and are a thin handled version of the oc aristocrat, just like the post war aristocrat jrs.this 1939 version had the ornate handle like the 'crat, where as earlier versions had the more "superspeed/ranger" patterned handle.production ended when the war started ..
anyhoo, blade loaded,a fabulous 2+ ensued,no drama.blade was smooth and sharp.will see how long it lasts.if it hits 5 then they are as good as the yellow tuck version.some have said production of these blades ceased as everyone knows, long lasting blades don't generate revenue.the new blades have some pretty expensive type packaging so could be the same blade,or a fancy gimmick to sell cheaper blades.either way they are tough to find.this 100 pack came from a barber supply in london england.that could be the hint there.barbers don't need blades that last many shaves..
finished the shave with some twisted thayers and adg profumo edt..awesome shave..have a fine day everyone..
