I don't like extra steps because it's not efficient to me. I have bowl lathered and it does produce awesome lathers, but it's one extra thing that needs to be rinsed. I bought plastic bowls for 28 cts each and they work very well. They are lightweight and flexible so that it's very comfortable; unlike ceramic bowls and mugs.
