I have been really loving the 2 fougère shave soaps I have. From the name of that one I'm guessing it's a very strongly scented soap. Would that assumption be correct?
Mon 17th August The Grosvenor [ 404-mixed ] L`Occitane Cade Cream Occam-Hiram Cdr. / No2 plate Kai captain Titan Mild/Pink [ 3 ] GB Grey Flannel A/S Lotion. Now have had 4 consecutive Shaves with The Hiram/2 plate, and it is delivering consistently good Shaves without any problems. I used a cream today which is a rare occasion, I had almost forgotten how good it is to Shave with,and The Hiram is so easy to keep rinsed. The move from a 3plate to a 2plate has been a success, as the Razor is now proving to be an excellent Daily Shaver.
Menthol Monday's Shave Cold Water Rinse Proraso Green Shave Soap Jayaruh #206 2-band Badger Original TNNSER Persona Gem SS PTFE SE CWR Osage Rub The plan was to use the Wabbit by Tom today, but it did not arrive in time. Maybe I will get it before tomorrow's shave. The Proraso Green Shave Soap face-lathered well with my Jayaruh #206 2-band badger brush. Two passes and touch ups with the TNNSER razor with a Persona Gem SS PTFE SE blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Osage Rub. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...
MMMonday, Aug 17th 2020 Razor: Everready Streamline 2nd generation-Mfg 1949-53, good blade feel and can deliver a great shave,technique is all about this razor IMO. Blade: Gem Personna SS PTFE (7) excellent blade, sharp and great longevity. Soap: Colonel Conk Bayrum- mild scent with excellent lather properties. Brush: Yaqi Timber wolf 24 mm synthetic- great brush for creating lather with those cloud like soft tips. Pre shave: Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser + a dollop of Aloe Vera gel on beard area. Prep: Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. Post shave: Razorock blue barber with witch hazel + a dollop of Nivea balm. Results: CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + 1 blemish weeper= Great shave with my A.S.R ER streamline 2nd gen. OFSR (Our Famous Safety Razor), despined gem ss ptfe blade, shave 4 Second go round with this razor. It is a very mild razor, reminds me a lot of the model C autostrop that can also use a despined gem blade but is much more efficient of a shaver. As I've stated before this razor is rebrand of a Burham and since it was sold by ISR it puts the razor in the date range of 1918 through sometime in the 1920s.
Tue 18th August RazoRock 400 Spec edition MWF Occams Hiram/Plate 2 Kai CTM-Pink [ 4 ] Jaguar Prestige A/S Lotion I think that this the 5th consecutive quality shave confirms that The Hiram is a rather good choice for me as a Daily Shaver.Used the MWF on its last knockings, and despite the chalky water of Kent it still delivers a great Shaving Lather.

Wed 19th August Vulfix 404 mixed Williams Mug soap Hiram Cdr /Plate 2 Kai Pink [ 5 ] Williams Aqua Velva A/S Lotion Back to a Williams Wed after missing a couple. Very copious lather deceived me a bit as so much glide, didn't work hard enough in some areas so finish a bit patchy.

Blade: Gem Personna SS PTFE (8)- Excellent blade. Soap: Razorock Lavender. Brush: Yaqi Tuxedo knot 24mm- makes great lather and has cloud like soft tips. Pre-shave: Brush wash my whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser + a dollop of clear Aloe Vera gel on beard area. Prep: cold water rinse after each pass of 3 + pickups. Post shave: Razorock King Louis Lavender aftershave with witch Hazel + a tiny dollop of Nivea balm. Thur 20th August RR Syn.22mm Arko Stick -grated Occams Hiram/Plate2 Kai Pink [ 6 ] Tuff Red A/S Lotion Got it spot on today, got the finish right in each are before moving on, did not get fooled by the slickness of the lather. The Arko really works for me, after all it is used by lots of Turkish Guys who often have tough beards to deal with, so they must think its good too.
