  8. SOTD WEDNESDAY MORNING, AUGUST 19, 2020

Another excellent face shave with the Witte ‘Copperhead’ 13/16. Although it was supposedly NOS complete with a note stating “Honed by Henrey 1939” Ben oversaw my rehoning the razor on my new jasper stone despite Henrey‘a prior world eight years before I was born. Great face shave. The new Blackland Tradere loaded with a Feather blade cleaned up the neck and again delivered another VBBS. Great safety razor shave on the noggin left me refreshed, clean and smoothly velveteen.

RAZOR: Witte ‘Copperhead’ 13/16 (Mug), Blackland Tradere (Dome)
    BLADE: Feather DE
PREP: Cold water rinse followed by a scrub with Rabid Banana Preshave Cube
    BRUSH: SR Synthetic
    SOAP: Mitchell’s Wool Fat w/ 6 drops of M-Bomb
POSTSHAVE: Cold water wash with brush squeezings followed by Humphreys Lilac WH and Osage Rub. Finished with Fine Accoutrements Snakebite AS Splash.
