August 20, 2020 Wolfman WR-2 1.05mm Gillette 7 O’clock Yellow Paladin Asylum Colonia Shave Soap & Aftershave Whew, what a week. Everything worked great together delivered a fantastic shave. Three passes and touch ups caught the baby with ease. The Tradere made it to the local post office so it should be delivered today or tomorrow. If so, I will take it for a spin on Saturday morning. Y'know, I usually don't do reports on my shaving foam shaves(Canned), as I figure it's always a pretty "routine" type of shave. But I'll make an exception for today-as it is "Throwback Thursday". The Gillette Foamy Menthol spread across my face and neck real well. giving plenty of "ammo" for the razor to work with. (Should I have said "with which for the razor to work"?). Anyway, a good pass all around(doing a few touch-ups on my face). No cuts or (New York K)nicks, which is a great sign, especially along the sides of North Porcupine Alley. Cactus Nation was fine-I always have @wristwatchb to thank for my new plan of attack on Cactus. Aqua Velva Classic Ice Blue for the closer. . Top Of The World Excellent it is. .
Thursday's Shave Eversharp/Schick I2 HydroMagic Personna Blade Semogue 820 Boar Cold River Soap Works 'Juniper' Shaving Soap Dickinson's Witch Hazel Pitralon Classic Aftershave This soap/AS combo is such a great scent combination for me. It brings back a lot of memories of my childhood and adolescence. Pitralon may have other scents in the mix, but I only detect the cedar - which is fantastic! The CRSW does a great job with their Juniper scent and the performance is always great. I found the soap yesterday as I was digging through a couple of boxes to find yesterday's soap. I think I will keep it in the rotation for a while. 2.5 passes today with the Eversharp/Schick HydroMagic provided another BBS result with no irritation or mishaps. Sticking with what works!
