    I should spend some time over there, Gary! The one time I made a post the response was pretty negative by one of the straight meisters over there. Maybe I’ll give it another try! Ben is all caught up in super sharp honing. I guess I’ll find out tomorrow if that’s the case! Good morning, my friend!

    good morning..i comment about the cool razors but little else..they are a little arrogant/clicky,but thats fine..i know little about razor sharpening..i am sure they want to keep their threads on topic..now if i wanted to learn..;)..

    Friday's Shave

    1959 Gillette Fatboy (E4)
    Gillette Platinum (1)
    Semogue 820 Boar
    Mitchell's Wool Fat
    Dickinson's Witch Hazel
    Irisch Moos

    Sticking with the process worked again today. 2.5 passes with the Fatboy provided a BBS result with no irritation or mishaps. After deviating last Friday and going to setting 9, I went back to setting 7 for today's shave. For some reason, the shave is just more comfortable there.

    thank you Andrew..one of my crown jewels.i had the gold version for a bit as well but traded it back for something else.it was perfect,too nice to ever use,so no reason to own it for me..

    Thanks Andrew...the two cold Stoylins(soap and A.S.)should see a lot of action in the upcoming days..another hot/humid spell. Not to mention the Frost Drops, although I just DID mention them(chuk yuk yuk).
