It would be nice but I think the licensing arrangements will mean full razors only. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
i just tried to straighten my vc 1 razor's bent guard.didn't go as planned..not too bothered as it was the mint nickel brit vc3 short handle razor that came with it that i really wanted.the vc1 was just a bonus that needed work.i now have a plane nickel long handle for the vc3 as well..one less razor to contend with...damn fiddly these valet's though.i still love my 3 piece new rfb's the most.solid and hefty/durable..
Another satisfied customer. Just finished putting another notch in my strop...I mean belt. Seriously, what I discovered by clearing the knot is that there is a lot of residual moisture in there. Beautiful new razor, James. These Traderes must be contagious.
very cool.i got my gillette stamped vc4 from a kind gent here as a bonus.i accomplished my goal of having an oc one in nickel, hence the vc3.i did like the swing open blade loading of the vc1.seemed to be a very stable way of holding the blade, the tabs on the later ones are a touch more fiddlier..it's something i can live with and not drop more bucks to collect more of them though..finer prizes in the crosshairs..
You’ve taught me a real appreciation for Gillette RFBs, and in the process you have become quite the expert. I always enjoy your posts, Gary!
Thanks, Clint! Clearing the brush worked out well. I'm happy to have bought the Tradere. It has a shot at displacing the H&S NO75LE as the favorite. Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk
I think if you were to shave with a Colonial Silversmith, you might be very surprised at the efficiency and smoothness.
I'll keep that in mind, Jeff, but the aesthetics just don't appeal to me. Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk
