Gentlemen, thank you all. You have been an incredible blessing to us during our journey. I can't tell you how much Kathy and I appreciate friends like you. We've had so much love, prayers, encouragement, blessings, and care poured out on us over the past few months. I'm confident that we don't know the full extent of it, and we'll never be able to say thanks sufficiently. We are humbled, and we feel very blessed.
We made it home safely last night. We took a scenic and stress-free (12-hour) route through Minnesota, Iowa, Illinois, and Indiana with a few rest stops. That is some beautiful countryside. It took an extra hour plus, but it was worth it to stay out of heavy traffic. We got a late start yesterday morning after packing up the last-minute items and saying goodbye to some dear friends. We already have plans to visit some friends in Minnesota.

We were home and settled by midnight. We're starting to unpack (a process that usually takes us a couple of days), but I'm already itching to meet up with some of our friends here.
I'm feeling pretty lazy right now, so tomorrow looks like a two-passer on three days of growth. I don't like all the stubble, but those kinds of shaves are usually very satisfying.
It's really good to be home.
