  1. I learned from the best.
  2. very cool..
  3. Zenith_shape.jpg

    Zenith Brush handle that's awesome.

If you need higher resolution, can do. TSD only allows 1mb files to cross.
  4. Excellent presentation Gary.

  5. This is what I am experimenting with. Obviously this isn't aluminum.

  6. Low resolution is fine. What I really need is the photo taken from a distance so my tracing software can pull a silhouette with minimal distortion. I took mine from about 6 feet back and then I cropped it. Low resolution is less of a problem than the distortion from taking the picture up close.

  7. That is very cool Evan. Y'all brush turners have some of the coolest tools....lathes, 3D printers, belt sanders/polishers/drill presses, and more.
  8. If the one I sent doesn't work....I can reduce it to only pure black pure white graphic (JPEG, PNG, etc.) or a vector image (.EPS) graphic if needed. It was done at about 3 feet away, zoomed in, then edited for cropping in even closer.

I also have JPEG to Vector tracing software, it has the capability of smoothing the vector arcs. One of the other aspects of what I do is motorsport/vehicle/business/sign graphics. Taking a logo and tracing it for a sponsor for example, in cases where the sponsor (or art dept) is slow to send the 'official' eps files.

    Just let me know.
  9. Thanks Clint!

Nice Shave Jason! I like that brush. That's one of yours correct?

I made 4 blanks and figured I'd just play around with one of them. The chalk is the only one that worked.
Thanks Andrew! I noticed you also did a Williams Wednesday! Great minds think alike, and somethings I think like a great mind too.
Thanks Joe! Yep, it's ALMOST too big. :)
Very nice Blair. I really like that brush.
    Always nice Gary!
:) It was fun to use, but it wastes a lot of soap, Joe. I think it would drive you crazy.
    Very Nice Jeff!
Thanks Gary! It's just about the biggest I can make on my mill.
:) Well, us tool junkies collect a lot of tools. Would you believe I had to borrow a table saw last month? I haven't returned it yet so I think it's probably mine by now.

    Thanks Everyone! Life is good.

I noticed the Mike's Bay Rum shave stick while looking through the cabinet and realized I had not used it recently. I like to use synthetic brushes with shave sticks so the Duke 3 got the nod. This pairing is really a face lathering dream team. The Duke 3 is so easy to splay and use while the Mike's Bay Rum scent is just straight pure undiluted bay rum goodness. Three passes and touch ups ended with a perfect BBS shave. My best so far with the Tradere. After six shaves I can say that the Tradere OC is a smooth and efficient razor. Happy Thursday everyone. I hope everyone has a great day.
