You have made fantastic progress Jeff. My wife and I were talking about straights this morning. That is a bridge too far for her with this shaving hobby. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
It’s definitely not for everyone! In my case, it was one of the things I started about 5 yrs ago and never finished. I like to complete things I start. I think I’m actually starting to enjoy it. Never thought I’d like honing, but live and learn! Believe me, I hear you! My SWMBO is definitely not a fan. She tried to get my son Ben to “talk sense” to me a few weeks ago. Boy was she barking up the wrong tree!
It's your typical great shave Clint! As far as straights, you can always get a cheap Gold Dollar that is honed from TSD member Slash McCoy or one from YouTuber Anthony "the Stallion" Esposito. Last time I checked, you can get these for under 50 dollars, but don't hold me to it. If you finally do it and like it, then you have enough premium razors to sell off and subsidize straight razors. Now, I understand that straights are not for everyone and that is cool. I am a firm believer that if you are happy using a particular style of razor because it fits your personality and above all, you get good shaves, then as far as I am concerned, you are ahead of the game.
Nice Jeff! No fun with the small issue, but if the alum got it under control, no big worries. Great looking Puma! Lovely Jim! Super colors!
Terrific shave Jeff! Glad the cut wasn't severe. It is part and parcel of shaving even under normal circumstances. I don't have Parkinson's so I have no experience with it. Is there a warning that you will have a tremor so you can stop before it happens? Stay safe and be careful, my friend.
