i spend a lot of time here ,even before the covid lockdown.l like to say thank you to someone who acknowledges a post or pic by using the like button or responding in kind.i think some folks just get busier or move on when their shaves have improved.some may get offended if they read or see something they don't like.if we are friends then we are friends.we may have disagreements but we get over them or find solutions,or just agree to disagree and and have a laugh.many characters here hang out and enjoy the camaraderie and among other things shaving and helping others..even with a bunch of members MIA we still post over 6000 post a month..i have my sit back and watch times and my get in your face times but that's just me..part of my flaw system.i love to be here and the likes and kind response will continue as normal. i do comment less on the SOTD or other threads on shaves/pic as i like and thank the folks that attend here in a more normal way and not repeat myself.i comment to those who rarely if ever frequent here on those threads.so if you guys have a fabulous set up and pic posted on the sotd and i don't comment it's because i have here already..i hope this doesn't offend anyone..happy shaves gents..
cool bike Jeff.how does the electric part work? in gear changing or like a gas motor assist on hills and stuff..
Yes and I was playing along. None of the suppliers list prices. They all say to contact sales to get a quote. That usually means it's very expensive. I was curious so I looked.
It brings back memories, and I will leave it there. Mystery of the month. BTW, the SS chubby handle in your avatar looks cool!
Agreed, Bill! I checked in when I could during the summer and probably saw less than 2% of the posts. It was a welcome relief to stop by and see some good friends, even if it was for only a short time.
@everyone Bunches of great images, shaves and reports! Some new soap acquisitions, razors, long e-bike rides, cool new big screen (great wood work too) and more. I’ll say to what several have said, sometimes hard to keep up....sometimes it’s easy. Just depends on family time, work load and balancing a super fun like minded group tied to a great hobby that recurs almost daily!
The Beast is getting a little tired....probably needs a new turbo....I’ll likely do some compression tests this coming off season to see where everything is at. The 7.3L is an International brand motor (back then used in light hauler diesel big trucks). Rated for 600k before a rebuild if properly maintained. Tried too....just never know. Last year I put a new Alpine super fun audio system with a sub....Apple Car play integration. Was like getting a new truck!
they are good for many miles.the e series buses i worked on had them.really reliable compared to the 6.0L and newer....great trucks..
@brit I have just tried to reply to your message, but I have had no joy! Thank you! I hope that you and yours are well! I have been away from the boards for a little while, but I am back in time for SEptember!
