That sounds just like a clone of my Sir Hare Apha. Or perhaps the latter is a clone of the former. Thanks Jim.

 

Seemed a little early, set a record.

 

SE SOTD, Tue, Sept 1st 2020

Razor: Gem junior 1912 parade with Baton handle-Mfg 1943- mid range and a joy to use the tapered Baton handle.
Blade: Gem Personna SS PTFE(2) Excellent blade, very sharp, great longevity,predictable blade, excellent cost per shave.
Soap: Haslinger Schafmilch- nice mild scent with excellent lather qualities!
Brush: Razorock Plissoft 24mm- creates excellent lather with nice soft tips for painting lather.
Pre shave: Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser + a small dollop of clear Aloe Vera gel on beard area.
Prep: Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups.
Post shave: Razorock XXX with witch hazel + a dollop of Nivea balm.
Results: CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + no weepers= Excellent shave with my Gem Jr parade 1912 baton handle.

Brush: Rubberset 200-2 with two band Badger knot
Lather: WSP Formula T Bay Rum
Astringent: Osma Alum block
Aftershave Splash: Ogallala Bay Rum Lime and Peppercorn
So #SEptember is off to a BBS start. This razor and blade combination just get better and better.

Day 2 of SEptember. The Williams Mug Soap face-lathered well with Jayaruh #313 Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Gem Damaskeene razor with a Personna GEM SS PTFE blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Mennen Skin Bracer AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...
