  1. "Watch me, Grasshopper"- lets do this Shavette Fu style:

I don't want to see a pic of any shave that isn't 'above the shoulder', Joe...
The CK-6 is a quality base, no question. I see he now has a dupe of Royal Mayfair in that base as well. That sounds better than the Brylcreem dupe he is also making...
You are showing great patience using the same hardware all week, Clint. Dare I say it resembles a focus? Beautiful pic, as always.
I view MAYhem as the perfect mix of Shaving, Science and Shenanigans.
The soap sounds fantastic, Joseph. Not sure why I haven't pulled the trigger on their stuff. Readily available around these parts as a Canadian product. I do know the non-alcohol splash hasn't interested me, but the quality product list on the soap certainly does.
Very nice, Pierpaolo. I have a Schick trac 11 handle that is similar. It is for travelling on airplanes. Suffice to say it hasn't been used for a long time...
Happy anniversary, Blair! A great story as well. Thank you for the technical details on the Kami technique as well.
None of it. I was just pointing out that the Maol face feel was in the same quality ballpark.
The Blinker fluid sounds pretty interesting, Evan! Where did you find Adventus oil?
    Today.
I'm wondering about that Arlington soap, Andrew. I had the cream, but was just 'meh' on performance. I've heard the soap is better. Do you like it, performance wise? Have you had both?
Sorry about the blade, Jim. That knot in that beautiful brush looks like a Zenith. Is it?
That razor goes against what a Goodwill was supposed to be, GAry! Just a stunner.
What are you thoughts on the MDC, GAry? Has it become a fave?
  2. Very nice shave Jeff! Another smooth dome! Hope you have a wonderful day.

  3. fine set up,shave and pic Jeff..
  4. thank you on both counts Jason.the french goodwill razors were sold and not given away, nicely cased as well in fake crocodile skin..the MDC is nice soap,i am sure it can be lathered up better than i do it.i bought one to try and to cross it off the list.i probably won't need to get another as it looks untouched after a few uses and my current rotation size.i love the subtle citrus scent that pairs with any of my limey scented products..the performance is excellent but not "magic" like the Baume.be,St.James of London, and SC.Bignoli products.these are creams though.so a well built MDC could well follow..
  5. Great report Joseph, always enjoy seeing that Boker! Awesome combination!

Fun looking razor and setup Pierpaolo!

Love the green theme Jason! Hope you are feeling better.

  7. I found it on Etsy. It smells very similar to the other dups I have. I've never smelled the real thing so. If I ever make more AS I'll use a lot higher proof alchohol. This 80 proof vodka isn't strong enough.

  11. Thank you Bruce! Feather blades......only a couple left in the SE blade stash. 300 Schick B-30 Prolines incoming....should cure that.

Lovely vintage image and everything Andrew! Very nice indeed.

Bergamot Lavender.....enabling me again. Been intrigued awhile with that one from Stirling (w/o menthol though). Awesome colors and shiny Jim!

  13. Wonderful shave, Jeff!
The brush has a gelled Shoate knot from TnS. Seems to finally be breaking in. For some reason it's been difficult to load enough soap for three passes. Thirty second load this morning gave me a bowl full of Stirling goodness.
