  2. At last, my NOS John & Wm Ragg has arrived. Freshly honed courtesy of @Billyfergie who knows just the kind of edge that I like :happy088: It’s a beauty I found hidden away on the internet. It had been part of the Ragg family auction in 2016 and the buyer still had it in inventory - unused. It’s heavier than most razors it’s size as it is just barely a quarter hollow 11/16ths. :happy093:

I may have a short delay in putting it into action as I am in the process of testing a couple of safety razors as part of a pair of pass-arounds. When it rains, it pours :eatdrink047:

  6. OK, minor correction, Billy pointed out to me that he thought it was bigger than 11/16th. And so it is - 6/8ths: EC17665B-A29D-42E1-88EA-B346A26E666A.jpeg

  19. Wade & Butcher For Barber’s Use landed a few days ago.

Nice, hefty 17/16 blade which cleaned up very easily. The scales are in great shape, along with the coffin box. Small chip at the point but not even sure I’ll mess with that.
