  1. Pure marketing.

Rive Gauche, one of my favorites. Great juice!

    Happy Anniversary!

I love the Shiv razor, it has character.

I am fan of Royal Mayfair, they released it a week after I placed an order. International shipping is crazy expensive now so it will be a long wait before I can add that one to the den.

Böker is considered a solid modern producer. I have not owned one so I can I can't give first hand feedback.

Diamond Hayashi has a great reputation. Some many great JWest razors out there to choose from.

I started with the SS model and hated it, the hump at the edge drove me crazy. The DX for me was a lot easier to use and more like a true straight.
  2. 100% agree, modern day Rosie the Riveter!

  3. TGIF: My favorite JWest razor, Saito SK-3, is the whisker remover selection today. An excellent shave but I have to say I prefer the Omega Pro knot to this knot.

  17. Great Valet shave with my favorite model! Sorry about the blade. If you were to use FAS-10 Carbon Steel blades, you could strop them and extend their life. I’ve gotten up to 20 shaves on a stropped FAS-10 blade! Enjoy your week, my friend and stay safe!

  19. Thank you Jeff. I am not sure if I want to go through the extra step of stropping a blade and the oiling it after The shave.

  20. Awesome shave and gear, Joe! You will be busy this year just dealing with the new challenges placed upon you due to C-19 so I do understand your quandry of seeing and commenting on most of the posts.
