I'm going nuts on soaps. Probaly have years' worth now. Latest is Cremo to try.
    Cheaper than razors!

Very cool. It's fun to try different soaps. You can always use 'em up in the shower or pass 'em on to make more room.

I've watched some of his videos, even ordered from his store as a kind of thank you. Not seen this, will watch thanks.

What about Myles @myles wilson or does matching gear sets from the Rat Pack count too?

First, you are stretching when you do facial contortions.

I lather my whole face and then I proceed to shave. I don't have a problem stretching my face even if the soap is super, but other shavers will rub alum on their fingertips to get a better grip.

You'll get there with shavettes. Keep experimenting, and you'll find the way that works for you. Maintaining proper angle, having a light touch, and relentless skin stretching has helped me the most. I will follow your progress with interest, and I hope to learn from you also.

I've watched most of Geo's videos. He shaves quickly with DEs and tends to shave multiple times over un-lathered areas of skin (not something I do, but it works for him). He slows down, stretches more, and shaves more intentionally when he uses shavettes and straight razors.

True, but I get a better stretch using my off-hand. And I can't always get a good stretch on some areas of my face using contortions.

This is definitely a situation where I'm right...er...uh...where everyone needs to find the way that works for themselves. :D

Please, Joe, think of the students. They are required by law to be in the same room with you. :scared007:

I believe in giving myself a helping hand when it comes to stretching while shaving. There are others that can get along fine with just facial contortions. The only facial contortion that I use is placing my tongue down inside my mouth to flatten my chin.
