?

If the designs were made public on thingverse would you have this razor printed for personal use?

Injector razors have been very mild to me.
No matter if I use an Schick E or a PAL.
I use b-20 blades but still wish for more.
I'm hoping for a little more efficiency.

Fortunately I had a Valet razor with 2 shaves on the blade in the suitcase. First time with those Feather blades. Is it just me or do they fade very quickly? But, it did the trick when I needed a clean face a couple of times - even if shave #4 was on the rough side. :eatdrink047:

I find that those razors are quite gental no matter what blade is used.
4 passes is quite a lot on a blade.
Glad you could get the job done though.

My teenage daughter has a 3D printer. Can I get the files to see if she can print one?

And someone mentioned a 3D printed brush - what's that about?

I don't know if @twhite wants to release the designs just yet until the passaround is done but if you want to 3d print another design of Tom's the TNNSER is openly available.

OK, back from the trip and a shave with the Black Wabbit. First things first, the shave quality was very, very good. Minimal touch ups needed. That is the strength of the Wabbit. I did amp up the efficiency with a Personna blade and it did produce a couple of weepers so I would have liked to compare with a Schick blade but it’s time for the Wabbits to hop along. :)

On the downside the Wabbit is too light for me and the loading mechanism was troublesome. I finally found the instructions on page 6 of this thread for the manual loading. A little challenging for clumsy fingers but much easier than the unloading which I risked cutting myself with. Once I was able to pop the retainer off it went flying across the room. Yikes :shocked003: Maybe some kind of tab to make removal easier would help.

It would make a good spare travel razor to keep in the suitcase but otherwise I wouldn’t reach for it. :(

It’s now been cleaned and sanitized and will be on it’s way to @Terry this afternoon.

Thanks Tom for the chance to experience another of your creations. My hat is off to you again! :happy093:

...and yet somehow they can manage the Christmas crush which has way more volume than mail in voting. Average daily mail pieces delivered is 472 million. Per day. There are about 15o million registered voters. Even if every single one voted and everyone voted by mail the volume is spread over the early voting periods and doesn’t actually increase the averages dramatically. And every single voter isn’t going to vote - and even those who vote by mail often drop their ballots off (like me) to avoid the post office.

Christmas season on the other hand sees volume increases of about 28 million pieces per day. Go figure. :sport026:

    Good morning all wabbit-tiers!
I had a chance to use this printed razor.
I had in mind that if it was a mild manner kinda tool I'd just send it off after the initial use. But.... if it was a fair blade holder I'd keep it to see if I could get a decent job from it.
I loaded it with a Schick B-20 blade, and waited till morning.

As I loaded my brush with Bay Rum goodness, I wondered about the shave I was about to perform. Just what would it be like ???
Well the very first stroke on the cheek was telling, nice!
I was in for a treat, this baby will shave me well.
So the first pass was top notch, the angle was good, the exposure was surprisingly sufficient, I have a winner!
Second and third pass was where a good razor should perform.
The head shave was as I expected from what it did on the ugly mug.
    Wonderful.
I'm smooth and clean, just like I like.
No cuts, scraps, nicks or burn.
    Nice!

    Uh....
Sorry Jim @Jim99, I'm gonna keep them a few days to a week for some shave enjoyment.

    I WANT ONE, or two.
Put me on the list for 2.

    Hello all Wabbit-tiers.
Another fine shave with this crazy tool.
    20200916_063232.jpg
I found that the razor needs cleaned more than the razors I'm used to. The lather clogs it. The shave was just as good as the black Wabbit. I'm not having to much trouble changing blades, but it could be hard on some.
I see that if the tabs on the cap could be on the bottom, it might be easier to change blades. Not enough problems to worry about. Nice I don't need an injector unit to change blades.
    Anyway....
3 passes head and face, no issues, clean and smooth. Trimming around the ears and beard is easy.
This design makes the B-20 blades shine. I have a few injector razors that do it right, this really ranks up at the top. The more I use it the better I like it.

Nice job on a plastic razor.
    Nice job indeed!
