He was the real deal, Paul. I saw him doing this all summer. He was truly a happy man. If COVID is not a thing next time we're there, I'd like to stop and meet him.
thank you Evan.thankfully i have many good memories..my love of Darts, rock music, many things all started at the farm house,my uncles' influences .
thank you Charlie.being she saw england during the war and afterwards she would have seen it all and had many stories.my only regret is not asking enough questions..my youngest uncle is only 10 years older than me so..he was the dart player..lots of great memories..
thank you Charlie.i will.she was my favorite grandmother..i spent a lot of time there as a youngster right up to my teens..
Wonderful shave, Joe. My new UK Sourced Manhattan Cutlery 5/8 is a Sheffield Steel blade. I wonder if it will last as long as yours. That would be great if it did.
Another drive by posting, sorry I can't keep up but I will be back more often in late September. Tuesday shave was in a hurry so I used the Futur again and got and excellent shave. No pic. Wednesday shave feathered a 6/8 Hart Steel razor with a 3/4 grind, no noise just the silent removal of whiskers. Electric Sheep was the software of choice and it made a wet messy lather but perfect for a straight razor shave. The result was epic.
Thanks, Gary! Thanks Clint! Thanks Jeff! Well, you would have to go against your method of honing it on your Jasper after every shaveand and see how long you need before you put it on the stone. I think you should get at least 50 shaves.
Thanks Clint! Bright colors just drag me in....must have. Sincerely appreciated Jim! Thank you Jeff! Thanks so much Gary! Thanks Joe! The factory edge isn't bad....just not even...if the back half of the blade shaved as well as the front half, it would have been pretty incredible for it's age. Always read great things about the Herder razors.
Great shave, Keith; that pretty much mimicked my experience this morning. Ikm sure it’s great to have the bride home! Enjoy your day!
Thank you, Blair! In all honesty, I am pretty shocked with this shave. Last year, I bought this razor on Ebay that was listed as shave ready for about 25 dollars. It was shave ready, but eventually I had to hone it. I am pleased that this razor is still going strong and giving me great shaves. This razor and my 2 C-Mon razors were my best bargains.
I had that same Tabac stick, Andrew. A quality product, no question. The head on that featherweight looks a little more streamlined than the Jr I have. Lots of manoeuvrability I’d surmise.
Love the Gentleman and love a SynBad. Stunning shot, Jim, and the Enoch is such a unique looking AC razor.
