Thanks for the tip, Andrew. At times when I watch shave videos, the person spends a good amount of time lathering, which makes me say "Willya get to the shave already??!!" Now I understand why he takes all that time.
Great looking shave, Jim! Is that the same razor as yesterday? I know with varied lighting, my Schick handles sometimes appear different.
The G-bar is an excellent razor. The only Pinaud scent I can tolerate is Lime Sec. It's a decent lime scent, although I prefer Royall Lyme. Hope the MWF settles things down. You know you can purchase liquid lanolin to add to other soaps you like. I hope your skin feels better. Hope your day goes well.
I enjoy the lathering portion of the shave and usually continue just to the point where I think the lather might start to break down. On YouTube, Kevy Shaves takes the most time lathering of any I have watched.
Thank you, Jeff! I researched liquid lanolin a bit last week but there are so many options available. I think I should be looking for 100% LL. Many I saw said 100% but what it really meant was that they used 100% pure LL in their bottle, mixed with other stuff.
Quite possible.i bowl lather most stuff as i never scrub the face long enough when face lathering to build a lather to it's potential.i have used it twice with good results.was very slick as well.i also have very soft water here..i know modern williams as a tricky soap,ok for me ,miserable for others, but the Baume.be isn't really reviewed like that so far..
Thank you Jeff and Andrew. The day has improved somewhat. Now if I can just get one more payroll processed it will be in the books. Did I tell you how much I hate waiting on other folks.
