  10. Nice shave today-close to the same success as yesterday, but I couldn't get a Top Of..

I had the same equipment out as yesterday save for the brush(MaggardRazors 24 mm Marble Handle). I'm increasing my load time to 35-40 seconds. Why. It's because I'm focusing much more on the amount of lather I come up with. As I've said, I am not a fast loader(can't do the "do it like it owes you money" routine...or at least not as fast as what I've seen in youtube videos). Anyway, I felt I had a good amount and went to work. I did get a Knick at the Northwest end of Porcupine Alley. I thought it would be a problem, but the lather from the second pass helped handle it. I also "drove over a speed bump" on the left cheek, but amazingly nothing developed from that. Other that the Knick and speed bump things went real well. The Agadir aftershave finished me off again. On these Covid 19 days, I use aftershave in 3 locations, face, neck(well those two are obvious), but forehead as well. I'm glad masks don't cover the forehead(chuk yuk yuk). Having survived the left cheek speedbump, I can safely say this one was Super Duper Excellent.
  11. Thank you, Joe! You as well.

  12. Kevy and Paul H. are talkers for sure. They are opposite ends of the spectrum with regards to lathering though.

  18. I'd like to have a beer (ale?) with Paul H. sometime. He seems like a really nice guy. I've got some friends from Wales, and he reminds me a lot of them. My skin would fall off my face, though, if I used his kind of pasty lather and performed so many passes.
  19. Yeah, but not velveteen, Joe! So sub par for me! I have a bit of a hill to climb with the new DX, and need to do it without becoming an involuntary blood donor! :)
  20. Good shave, Paul!
