Another good shave, maybe the best of the set, so far.
Astra blade - seemed like #2 was the best. I sense I could go to 4 or 5 easily but won't. My council to someone practicing a focus or rule is to replace the steel frequently. I'll heed my own advice and start a fresh blade next shave.
Working on finishing the Glacial Black Cherry Soap. I liked the non-menthol better. This reminds me of a Vicks cough drop.
My Stirling order showed up. It was supposed to be Friday, then changed to Monday, but delivered Sunday. I can hear the story now..... gee boss it didn't get on the truck, but you know, I'll be glad to run it all the way down there to the southern side of the county on Sunday......... for double time. Anyhow a pleasant surprise.

Normal 3-1/2 pass routine.
The unwelcomed ingrown visitors subsided after skipping ATG in that area yesterday. I risked it today, especially with a wearing blade, but why not push things in a challenge.

Finished up with the new Intrepid Man. I find it reminded me of Stirling Blue in the beginning, but evolved quickly to the spicy oriental part.
Description: This deep, spicy, oriental scent has a rich upfront blend of Indian sandalwood, cinnamon, coriander, and juniper berry. In the middle, it has lavender, orange, rosemary, and ginger and it's rounded out by tonka bean and vanilla.
Along with my order was the Stirling 'Aggressive' DE head I planned for this focus. It will be up next.
Visually different from a DE89 as follows: higher thicker cap, wider distance between clamping rails, deeper scalloping that rolls the edge, and a narrower base plate. It appears to be a shaver to get 'on the blade edge' more easily...... just what I was after.
Face was good. No regrets.
