Cool! Just scored this Fatboy off of eBay. These are as rare as hen’s teeth. G-2.

  4. Yeah, I can't remember the last time I saw a blister packed Fatboy on eBay. Must be about 7 years or so.

People would buy the NOS ones to use, because, eww, germs.

Stupidest thing ever. They were going for about $150 10 years ago. I expect you paid more.

Edit: going rate for a decent Fatboy, no plate loss, no case was about $30, then.

  5. Haha... I don’t know what is crazier: using up a NOS Fatboy cause “eew germs”, or NOT using one cause I am a collector?? This one is going in a safe. My guess is the value of a blister packed NOS Fatboy with cardboard in great condition to a well informed buying group would be about $700 today. But I’m just guessing.

  6. Great score! I'd use it (and save the packaging of course) since it is my birth year and would never be sold.

  7. I got one awhile ago that came in one of those little mailer boxes with a Gillette letter in it. Pretty cool. Yours is awesome.

  9. Let's just say I don't see it's value depreciating anytime soon. For current prices, I think that was a very good to fair price.
