  6. Monday's Shave
    #SEptember
    #G7DC (day 3)

    PAL Injectomatic
    Personna Blade
    Semogue 820 Boar
    B&M Bay Rum Shaving Soap
    Dickinson's Witch Hazel
    Grand Bay, Bay Rum Aftershave

Day 3 of the G7DC was another incremental positive improvement. Using longer, slower and careful shave strokes while also avoiding re-shaving on un-lathered areas seems to be helping efficiency and improving overall post shave comfort. 3 passes today with the PAL provided a very pleasant shave that passed the cotton ball test. No visible irritation or tenderness present.

  7. Great photo, and product selection, Evan. Sorry about the weepers. Sounds like the Hawk V3 is a beast to tame. You'll get it before long.

  8. Fine shave, Paul! I would say using lanolin in any aftershave is rare.

  10. Way to go, Andrew! It seems your experiment to avoid overshaving is working well. Cool photo, too!

good morning gents was hoping to get a menthol monday with the lemon chill set but well..gentleman works, didn't reach normal temp due to the smoke cover,so a little chilly..no real new improvement today.3rd use on the schick blade with no issue.will try a 4th and if it starts to feel dull will switch it out .fine 2+ pass near bbs but no irritation on the lower neck area.that's good news.does feel a little smoother there as well.a couple more shaves should yield closer results.slow increments..fine gentlemen lather and the same aftershave to finish.awesome shave.i am happy and if the shaves stayed this way the "66" would stay in the den rotation,as would all of my schicks...that little voice still says "it looks like the precursor to a cart" so it won't replace my beloved brit gillettes ,but that is based on many factors, not just shave quality.i have achieved that goal long ago..thanks to being here..:)
    have a great day everyone..
