Beautiful shave, Gary, but I'm really sorry to see all the fires in your city. I hope nobody was injured. I think it would be might scary in one of those high rise buildings looking down on the fires in the park.

I do like the look of those Rigarazors. My motivation to learn straight shaving.

    Thank you, Joe!

My Bride and I were talking yesterday about the $600 the scan cost after my health insurance paid. We hoped that we 'wasted' the money by getting a good report! Truth be told, I had fleeting thoughts of putting off or, worse yet, skipping the scan due to the out-of-pocket cost. Thankfully, I came to my senses, and I am blessed to be able to cover the expense. (I would never have allowed my Bride to skip a needed test due to the cost, and it would unfair to her if I treated myself any differently.) Adulting is hard. I think I'll take tomorrow off. :D

can't speak for feather de blades David.never tried them.my vintage favorites are spoilers and current ones are the platinums..:)..haven't needed to try others..98% of my go to blades are russian gillettes of many flavours.all work very well.,gsb,nacet,7 oclock blue, green, yellow, black, astras, polsilvers, permasharps and both platinums...suneko blades are fantastic, derby premiums as well.they are all within a certain sharpness range, mid sharp to high, with different durability levels and coatings..

I actually waited until I was 17 to take my driver's test, but I had been driving since I was old enough to reach the steering wheel. My Dad let me drive his truck on our property when I was a kid. Later as a young teen, he let me drive occasionally on roads with no traffic. Clutches and stick shifts were the norm on my Dad's trucks in those days. My favorite was his F-250 with the 4-speed that included "Bulldog Low."

A couple of my buddies had motorcycles, too, and I rode those occasionally in my early teens. I was never really comfortable on a bike. I wish I had spent more time with them. I wouldn't ride one now on a bet.

My road test ended abruptly when the state trooper told me to turn around and drive in the opposite direction. I was supposed to signal and then back in to a side street, stop, look, signal, and drive forward out of it on to the main street. I pretty much did the exact opposite. I pulled in and backed out on to the busy street. Skill or confidence wasn't the problem. Rather, it was my illegal maneuver.

The written test was never a problem, and I aced the second road test. :)

I used to think I was the only big Max Headroom fan. I taped them all and could not understand why the show did not last.
