  1. Fun read and thoughts Bill! The 'Grapefruit with Menthol'.....kind of makes me think of a new diet drink fad. :)
  2. Thank you, Andrew. That’s a difficult question to answer, mainly because I don’t know. The regular stainless GEM blades don’t feel as smooth to me anyway (compared to the CVS Carbons that I normally use). So, did the A&E soap really provide more benefit? Dunno. Maybe somewhat. Stirling soaps are darn fine, and today’s lather was up to the task. I think the blade is just saying “I’m retiring”. Or it could all be in my head...with all the voices...:D

  6. Thanks Bruce. I got a little carried away. I was clueless (and extremely fortunate) at times and had more than my share of growing up to do. I was poking fun at myself. It keeps me humble and reminds me that I'm flawed. Although still flawed, I'm pretty tame and boring these days. :)

Agreed on Mike's. He doesn't get the fanfare of some artisans, but he has a strong following. I've used his soap and shared it with several of my friends getting started. Performance and ingredients are top notch. I also like his simple packaging. Anytime I've communicated with him, he's been responsive and helpful. He's a class act all the way around. I hope he chooses to continue making soaps for many more years.

Just kidding (again) about your friend's Dad. It was very kind of him to help you out. We need more people like him.
  7. Thanks Blair. This is high praise, sir, coming from you!
  8. Wonderful warm-toned photo, and great setup, Jason!

  13. The G7DC membership committee reverses its decision. Will you take your job back?

It is unreasonable to require G7DC members to refrain themselves from gear change-ups longer than our Fearless Leader's avatar can stay in the saddle.
