Im a far cry from being an authority in GEM blades (or anything else, for that matter). I *think* the CVS carbons are made by Personna. Seems I read that somewhere. If anyone knows the answer, please chime in.
I have one PTFE blade in a sampler pack that I need to try. Most folks who use GEM style razors seem to love them.
I'm not sure about the Treet blades at the gas station either. I'm thinking that Treet branded blades are for shaving, but maybe they make some for scraping as well. They probably work very well for what the folks are using them for though, as I think I'm pickin' up what you're puttin' down. ;)
GEM blades are the most confusing of them all. Aside from the stampings on the spine, they're identical. You can't look at them and distinguish the ones for shaving and the ones for scraping paint. Unless you're buying them from a place like WCS, Maggard's, or a pharmacy (if they're in with all the other shaving items), it's a crapshoot.
If anyone has anything to add, please do.

Oh, OK Bill! You’re right! It is unfair to expect me to go all 7 days for a guy, whom we all love, of course, who can’t seem to keep the same avatar for the same amount of time! :D Besides, Ben dropped off a brand new synthetic stone progression he’s never used last night. The brand is Pride, and Ben says it’s comparable to the Shaptons, but a lot cheaper. There’s a 220, 1000, 5000, and a 10000. I just got my $5 Gold dollar. I bought a Slash McCoy Gold Dollar for comparative purposes. I really like my Jasper stone, but I think I’ll run the new Gold Dollar through the progression and finish on the jasper under water alone. Ben has apparently decided that he’s Mr. Natural now, only jnats for him! He’s keeping the Shapton Pro series though. So I guess he”s not completely Mr. Natural! ;)

Thank you Clint. One day in, so far so good. With this remote learning, kids at home for the day, I tend to feel like I am babysitting. Constantly asking them to keep there cameras on. Geez, how more important things to do. Oh well, on 37 more weeks after this one.

That might be the most tempting post to respond to ever posted in this thread.

received another NOS old spice mug, this time I managed to find one with the original box, paid an arm and a leg for it, but it was still worth it. We are getting ready to move out of town, so I am still having to come up with some ideas on how to pack all these vintage old spice boxes and bottles etc without damaging them, might just try a shoe box, idk yet.
