That's impressive, and very reassuring. I didn't know you had it that long, cool. We were able to get our XL on a Memorial Day sale 2.5 years ago....sub $1k, lots of extras, the convector plate mainly, but also a bunch of store brand freebies to get us started. It replaced a natural gas based grill purchased when we bought our house in 1996. The BGE was definitely an investment 'gamble' we took, but still a lot less than the pellet smoker equivalent we were thinking about. I had been doing tons of online reading trying to decide on which....then wifey and I went shopping and found the deal. Pellet smokers/grills that can do the temp range (in one unit) like the BGE get to double if not OMG pricing very quickly. Quite happy with the choice!
i do as well to be honest as i use short strokes with the gillettes, especially south/north.no issues from it..using the audible part is very helpful as well..
One time with an open edge tool, I made strokes successively and concluded with a good soap (I used Stirling) there was maybe half the sickness 2nd stroke vs the 1st, maybe 15% at the 3rd, and after that almost nothing.
Lovely shave, Jason! Sounds like the scent matchup went beautifully. About the only scent I can get away with is lime. So I do have a couple of lime scented products I like. I just may break them out after this focus ends.
Thank you Gary. Working from home while I have basement air handler replaced and an inline dehumidifier installed. My wallet is already screaming.
Thank you Jeff. 2020 seems to be the year of home repairs for us. I keep telling myself it's only money.
I think spending less time buffing and reshaving over unlathered areas (overshaving) is decreasing the time. I'm lathering the same as I always have.

As in just water? That's hardcore, dude. Truthfully, it makes sense that one can use only water. Never tried it myself, aside from a little touch up here and there.
Mine was the largest available at the time. I bought it before Asha was born since the BGE didn't get as hot to touch as a gas grill we were replacing. I have really enjoyed it over the years.
