Nice solid shave today for Throwback Thursday. Same arsenal as yesterday. I find it interesting that the closer you get to the bottom of a Mennen Skin Bracer bottle, the better the scent. (Course it's ALWAYS nice, but there's something special as you get to near the end).I bet Jack Palance's bottle was close to the end as he said that closing line of his famous Skin Bracer commercial: CONFIDENCE IS SEXAAAAAH....DON'T YOU THINK?". Anyway-the shave. Once again I made sure to increase the cream amount, and once again it came out like a cloud. I like clouds better than squiggly-lined appearances-tells me the shave should be pretty good. And it was just that....no cuts/Knicks. Got most areas covered-or in the shaving world, may I say "knocked off"(referring to the astroturf we try to knock off in the first place). Nice finish with the Skin-Bracer, as earlier mentioned. A rare Top Of The World Excellent( for a can shave).
The good news is G's are inexpensive. I have two other G's (I think both are G1's). One I've never shaved with yet (no reason why...just haven't). The other is one of my favorite razors to use. It's right there with the Supply V2. It's one of those grip it and rip it kinda razors. One of these days, I'll use the other one, and if it's just as pleasant, it'll probably go into the travel kit. Should something ever happen to it, or if it gets lost, etc. I'm only out a couple of bucks.
Oh man...that's harsh, Bill. Sure there's tobacco, however it's done in a refined scent. Ashtray?? - try Stirling Texas Fire. That smells like an ashtray at a bar...that's never been washed.

There was a moment when I thought I'd try Stoylin's TOF. Probably not now, although Doc Ezlovan knows I have a lot of other Stoylins.
